Heavy rainfall in the past few days resulted in landslide at multiple locations in the districts of Kiphire and Shmator affecting several families. The concerned District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) conducted visit to the affected areas and provided relief asssitance to the families. It was also reported that Kiphire DDMA provided cash to the ward chairman of Rest House Ward and Forest Ward to purchase tarpaulins and cover the affected areas.
