The NSDMA in collaboration with DDMA Shamator, NDRF and line departments conducted a mock drill exercise on the 29th of March, 2022. The mock drill was conducted simulating an earthquake scenario. During the exercise, the NDRF personnel demonstrated search and rescue operation and high rise building rescue. The mock exercise was conducted to create awareness among the communities and to check the preparedness of the district on how to effectively respond in the event of any disaster.
