The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department issue weather updates for the coming days.

in the coming days, Nagaland will experience light to heavy rainfall which is expected to be fairly widespread. There may be partly cloudy moderate rain during the 26 and 27 of March 2023 all over the State. However, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty wind is very likely to occur in certain pockets in the district of Peren, Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha, Mokokchung, Mon and Longleng during this period. The temperature of the State will vary between 9˚C and 30˚C respectively during this period.

The NSDMA, Home Department has urge the public to exercise cautions to avoid any eventualities during this period. NSDMA, Home Department has also requested all the DDMAs and other line Departments who are responsible to attend to any emergencies caused by natural calamities and to be alert to save lives and properties during this monsoon period.
