On July 20, 2023, the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Kohima organised a fake earthquake drill at Living Tree School in Tsiepugei in collaboration with NSDMA, the Home Department and Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF. Khrolou Koza Lohe, Assistant Manager (Training & Education) NSDMA, gave a presentation on the value of simulated drills during the briefing programme. Victor Kevilhouthie Yhome, District Project Associate (DDMA) Kohima, presented a conduct of simulated drill. The SDRF staff performed search and rescue demonstrations, high-rise building evacuations, and fire emergencies.
